In the heart of the Garden Route, nestled between the town of Knysna and the famous Knysna Heads, lies Pumula Lodge – “the place of rest”.

The well-appointed and eco-friendly lodge in a tranquil, parkland setting, is the ideal place to sit back, relax and enjoy a sundowner on your private deck overlooking the garden. A tree-top breakfast amongst the birds adds to the unique experience and you will be lucky enough to be able to persuade a feathered friend to enjoy a titbit from your hand.

A private entrance leads to five en-suite bedrooms , each with its own deck overlooking the garden and swimming pool. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed with luxurious bedding, just everything you need to make your stay a memorable one. There is a covered barbeque area next to the swimming pool for those guests who prefer to relax at home and perhaps have a barbeque (or as we say in the vernacular, a braai). However, if cooking is not on your list of things to do while on holiday, your hosts will recommend some of the many fine restaurants in the area.
