Pumula Lodge, a four-star guesthouse, opened its doors in December 1997.Through the years, and after many improvements to both the main house and the extensive garden, owners Pieter and Rensia Ellis have managed to keep to their original objective of creating a place where like-minded people could feel connected to nature – truly a ‘Place of Rest’ as the name Pumula suggests.

“As Pumula Lodge is first and foremost our home, we felt it important to create a home away from home where our guests can relax and share in the tranquil surroundings. We want our guests to feel well rested when they leave.”
